I am a New York-based filmmaker and anthropologist.  I make socially relevant documentaries and write scholarship that reflect my interests in science and technology and the social consequences of war.  I recently completed my doctorate in anthropology at New York University.    I am now a postdoctoral fellow at Columbia University’s Anthropology Department.

Bodies at War’, my first feature length documentary, is a work in progress based on five years of research and filming among people who strive to rehabilitate themselves and others after landmine injury in Colombia.

I recently started a new project on emergent virtual reality technologies in U.S. military medicine.
